Fasttrak is operated by Watchovr LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
In common with other websites, log files are stored on the web server saving details such as the visitor's IP address, browser type, referring page and time of visit. Cookies may be used to remember visitor preferences when interacting with the website. Where registration is required, the visitor's email and a username or social media authentication information will be stored on the server.
The information is used to enhance the visitor's experience when using the website to display personalised content and possibly advertising. E-mail addresses will not be sold, rented or leased to 3rd parties. E-mail may be sent to inform you of news of our services or offers by us or our affiliates.
If you have subscribed to one of our services, you may unsubscribe by following the instructions which are included in e-mail that you receive. You may be able to block cookies via your browser settings but this may prevent you from access to certain features of the website.
Cookies are small digital signature files that are stored by your web browser that allow your preferences to be recorded when visiting the website. Also they may be used to track your return visits to the website. 3rd party advertising companies may also use cookies for tracking purposes.
We use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used, Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with pages (including recordings of clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement on our pages), Sentry to diagnose errors (including masked recordings of some sessions and of sessions where an error occurs), and the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. These tools set cookies or similar technologies and receive information such as your IP address, device and browser details, and the pages you visit. You can limit them by blocking cookies in your browser, using Google's opt-out browser add-on, and adjusting your ad preferences with Meta.
Tracks you upload are stored so you can use the Service, and are visible only to you and the people you share them with unless you make them public. We process uploaded audio to provide features and run the Service, for example to generate waveforms and previews. We may also analyze it to measure loudness (such as LUFS), key, tempo, and other musical characteristics, and to detect copyrighted material through audio fingerprinting. Some of this analysis may be performed by service providers who process the audio only on our behalf. If you make a track or your profile public, we may feature it, with credit to you, to promote Fasttrak, as described in our Terms of Service.
Payments are processed by Stripe. When you create an account, we create a Stripe customer record with your name, email address, and account ID. If you sell music, Stripe collects the identity, business, bank, and tax information it needs to verify you and pay you out; we do not receive or store your full bank or card details. If you buy music, each Sale is charged on the seller's own Stripe account, so the seller receives your name, email address, and payment details for that Sale through Stripe and may use them to complete, support, and keep records of the Sale. We keep a record of each purchase (buyer, track, price, date, and license text) so buyers can download their purchases again and so we can meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. We keep these records for as long as they are needed for those purposes, which may be longer than the life of your account.
We share information with service providers that help us run the Service, only as needed for them to do so: Supabase (accounts, database, and file storage), Vercel (website hosting), Stripe (payments), Sentry (error monitoring and masked session replays that help us diagnose problems), our email delivery provider, the analytics and advertising tools listed above, and, if we use them, audio-recognition providers for copyright detection. These providers are located in the United States. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights and users.
You can update your account information and delete your account from within the Service, or by contacting [email protected]. When you delete your account, we delete your tracks and profile, except for backup copies kept for a limited time, purchase records we must keep as described above, and copies of tracks you sold that we keep so buyers can download their purchases. The Service is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old.
